Drawing for Play Positions and Partners
Each player will draw ONE popsicle stick for EACH of SIX go-rounds - new draw after each go-round. (Return popsicle sticks immediately after each draw!) The ink colour (red or black) will indicate which HEAT (1 or 2) you are playing in. Then which court, 1, 2, 3, or 4, then which side, A or B. ORDER OF PLAY  Return popsicle sticks immediately after each draw! 1. Side “A” begins serving. 2. Heat 1: 16 players 3. Heat 2: 16 players 4. Quarter Finals: top 8 men & top 8 women (mixed doubles) 5. Semi Finals: winners of ¼ finals, (mixed doubles) 6. Finals: winners of semi-finals (mixed doubles) 7. All Go-rounds and Finals are new draws. RULES & REMINDERS: Players are required to record their score following each game. Regular scoring to 9 (first to 9). Switch ends at 5. Receiving side calls “outs” - no debates. “Ball on Court!” - play stops and re-serve is made. Stay behind kitchen line unless ball has bounced. Line is part of kitchen. Watch your toes and momentum may not take you into kitchen after your volley. When serving remain behind service line until paddle contacts ball. Paddle must be below wrist and below waist when serve contacts ball. Do not stop an OUT ball before it bounces. Back to tournament page Here are the players who have entered and paid.
