Robin Eddington Monday, February 15, 2021 I realize everyone is eager to get back to PB but the Red Zone is too restrictive for league play and any form of drop-in play could easily undo the gains made the last few weeks of lock down. I will be meeting with Erin this week to discuss our limited options but please remember that ODAS Park is required to have someone personally monitor all on-site activities for compliance. I do not want to revisit the old debates on whether or not PB is a team support. The Red Zone restricts participants to ten, singles play only. No games. ODAS Park is a private operation that does not have the leeway to lower prices with tax dollars. The current price to rent the rink is $125.00 per hour. And please remember you are all (or should be) members of PBO. They have already stated that any activity not in compliance could nullify your insurance coverage. I also respect the fact that many of you have operated in a "bubble" of some description since Dec. 26th. While COVID numbers are coming down, people are still dying. The UK variant is spreading through Simcoe County and we do not want to be rushed into anything. And ODAS Park does not want to be the center of an outbreak. At least two PB clubs in Ontario already have. ODAS CONDITIONS: Every player is a member in good standing of ODAS Park and a current member of PB Ontario. MEMBERSHIP IS BY APPLICATION, ONLY.
